Dear Reader,
In my three years of experience as a tutor, I have deeply enjoyed
guiding my students towards their academic goals in the sciences.
I find myself fortunate to have tutored students from a diversity of
backgrounds - my students come to me from as close as local
schools in my hometown of Modbury to as far as private
institutions in Sydney, New South Wales.
I spent the majority of my secondary schooling attending a public
school, before attending a private school in my final year.
I raise this because, based on my experience, I believe that the
factor which determines a student's success in the sciences is not
the institution that they attend, but instead it is their possession
of knowledge about how the sciences are most effectively and
efficiently understood, memorised, and applied.
My work as a science tutor is work that I am greatly passionate
